The West Lothian band, formed in 2018 have released five singles amassing over 50,000 streams on Spotify. They have featured on BBC Radio nan Gaidheal and appeared as a playlist feature on Spotify's Fresh Finds Rock. The Volts have played many notable local and national venues across Scotland such as playing multiple headline gigs at the renowned King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, supporting Declan Welsh and The Decadent West at Dreadnaught Rock in Bathgate and most notably, supporting The Snuts at a sold out Barrowlands Ballroom in Glasgow in 2024.
